How to send stars in Monopoly Go

Sending Monopoly Go stars to your friends is simple, but there are a few things to understand first. You’re not actually sending stars directly; instead, you’re sending stickers that represent stars. Each sticker shows its star value, ranging from one to five stars, right at the top of the sticker artwork.

To send stars, you need to know which stickers your friend already has and send them duplicates. Instead of receiving the duplicate sticker, your friend will get the number of stars that the sticker is worth. This process requires a bit of coordination, but it’s an excellent way to share Monopoly Go stars with a friend. Remember, you can only send five stickers a day, so focus on sending those with the highest star ratings.

Here’s a quick way to send your extra stickers to a friend:

• Click on the album icon at the bottom of the screen, on the right side of the GO button.
• Choose a sticker collection where you have duplicates.
• Tap on the duplicate sticker, marked with a tag showing a plus sign and the number of duplicates.
• You’ll see a close-up of the sticker. Press the “Send to Friend” button at the bottom.
• Pick a friend from your list and click continue.
• A pop-up will ask if you’re sure you want to send the sticker. Tap “Send” to confirm.
• That’s it! Your friend will get the sticker next time they play the game.

What are Monopoly Go stars?

Monopoly Go stars are valuable resources that you can trade to unlock more stickers. To do this, go to the sticker album menu and select the safe icon in the bottom right corner. At the beginning, you can only exchange stars for a green sticker safe pack, which costs 100 stars. But as you progress in the game, you can unlock rarer stickers with the blue and pink options.
