Type Soul Horizon Essence
The Type Soul Horizon Essence is a universal item, meaning it’s not tied to any specific character or race in the game. It unlocks the Flashing Lights ability, which lets you dash forward at high speed while creating blue embers.
To use the Horizon Essence, you need at least 45 Kendo points in your skill tree. Without these points, you cannot activate the essence. Players with Horizon Essence can improve their combat strategies, especially when they know how to combine it with True Pierce.
Flashing Lights
The Flashing Lights ability unlocked by the Horizon Core provides players with a high-speed dash that generates blue embers. It’s effective on its own but reaches its full potential when used with True Pierce.
No True Pierce
When Flashing Lights is used without triggering True Pierce, it still deals damage but with limited impact. As they are knocked down and stunned, we use this ragdolling effect. Although it can interrupt their movements, the damage is fairly minor.
True Pierce
If you have to act fast, you can chain in Vertical Down or Split Gate after your attack to create yet another opportunity for True Pierce to activate. Begin with Vertical Down, after which pull in Split Gate and complete the combo with the Horizon Essence skill to perform two True Pierce moves.
When you successfully activate True Pierce, a special cutscene plays. The screen turns red, with black horizontal and vertical lines appearing, along with the silhouettes of your character and your opponent. Combining True Pierce with the Horizon Essence makes the Flashing Lights ability much stronger, delivering significantly more damage.
How to Get the Type Soul Horizon Essence
The Horizon Core is earned through competitive PvP. This potent essence is obtained by coming out on top in ranked 2v2 duels or Clan Wars. But if you lose or die in these modes, you will not get rewards, so strategic gameplay is essential. Using a Blue Pill will reset existing essences so players can work on securing new essences such as the Horizon Core.
