Type Soul Black Flash Guide
If you’re a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, you’ll be excited to know that the Black Flash skill in Type Soul is inspired by Yuji’s iconic move from the series.
Black Flash is a powerful Ultra Skill that can be unlocked using regular Skill Points and Skill Boxes. But it can only be used if the player’s Soul Style Meter is full. The Kido Skill Tree provides access to the Soul Style skill necessary to charge the meter. M1 attacks fill the meter; the progress is displayed on your screen. When the meter hits maximum capacity, which is marked with a “U” symbol, the Black Flash is primed for action.
How to get Black Flash
There are two primary approaches to unlocking the Black Flash skill in Type Soul. Instead, it can be earned through two means, the first of which is through Clan Wars, a competitive event where you score it by winning battles. The most common way players get the Black Flash. The second is through an AFK World Ticket.
How Black Flash Works

- You can use it repeatedly without waiting, but it will change the meter status from ‘U’ (Ultra) to ‘SS.’
- It can only be used when your M1 combo reaches the ‘U’ (Ultra) level.
- Black Flash releases bursts of electricity in all directions, causing direct damage along with some AoE (Area of Effect) damage.
- The attack pushes the player slightly backward, so you’ll need to position yourself carefully.
- Black Flash stops healing, meaning both the user and any teammates in a party can’t recover health while this skill is active.
