Anime Vanguards Dandadan Raid
Introduced in Update 1.5, the Dandadan Raid adds a new twist to Anime Vanguards, featuring ghosts and aliens. Players who are level 20 or above can now join the Occult Raid to collect the special Spirit Wisp currency. To participate, go to the Raids Room and enter the green portals to load the map. (If you’re looking for Demon Slayer Raids, head to the red portals.)
Raid Completion Rewards
Raids are tougher than regular story mode, but the rewards make it worth the effort. Completing raids earns you Spirit Wisps, which can be spent with the Saiko NPC in the Raids Room. These wisps are used to unlock evolution materials for the new Dandadan units.
You can also use Spirit Wisps for summons. Visit the Limited Occult Banner in the Summons section to see the new units. The cost is 150 Spirit Wisps for a single summon or 1,500 for 10 summons.
While this banner features Dandadan units, it also includes other special characters.

Saiko Raid Unit
Saiko is a special unit that can only be obtained in Infinite Mode of the Occult Raid. She has a 1.5% drop rate and features the Unbound element, which increases her critical chance by 5%. This works best with the Deadeye Trait, which has a 0.375% chance of activation. She also has a passive on placement, Nessie’s Blessing, which increases her damage by 25% when a boss is on the track.
To evolve Saiko into Saiko (Spirit Medium), you’ll need the following items:
- x1 Saiko Unit
- x1 Nessie
- Obtained via the Spirit Shop for 2,000 Spirit Wisps
- x3 Rainbow Essence
- x13 Yellow Essence
- x14 Red Essence
- x14 Blue Essence
- x30 Green Essence
- x15,000 Gold
- x7,500 Takedowns
When evolved, she gains a second passive Blazing Barriers. Her attacks cause burn damage equal to 25% of her DMG. For every burn, her attack cooldown (SPA) decreases by 0.5%, stacking up to -15% SPA.
